For this dinner, we’re showcasing Old Forester’s Historic Recipes series, which includes the 1870 Original Batch, 1897 Bottle In Bond, 1910 Old Fine, and 1920 Prohibition Style expressions. Each whiskey will be paired with a signature cocktail from its respective decade. Guests will enjoy the featured whiskey, expertly prepared in the most popular cocktail of that era, offering a unique taste of history in every sip.
1870: Manhattan introduced in the 1870s by Iain Marshall
1897: Whiskey Highball introduced in the 1890s by Patrick Duffy
1910: Sazerac introduced in 1908 in William T. “Cocktail Bill” Boothby’s The World’s Drinks and How to Mix Them
1920- Boulevardier introduced in the 1920s by Erskine Gwynne
All dinners will take place in Brook’s Bar and Deck with a max of 54 guests beginning at 5:30 PM with 4 courses and priced at $125 pp.
Patron Tequila Dinner
4 courses, 2 mini cocktails and 3 tequila tastings; we will be featuring tequilas from the Patron ‘luxury line’ including El Alto, El Cielo and Gran Patron Burdeos.
