The storied history of the Edgewood property begins 150 years ago on the shores of Lake Tahoe, where the Park family settled as cattle ranchers. Recognizing the immense value and importance of the land, it was here that the Park family decided to build their legacy.
In 1968 came the creation of Edgewood Golf Course, designed by world-renowned golf architect Tom Fazio. For decades, this lakeside course has captured the imaginations and tested the mettle of golfers of all skill levels from around the globe, and has been home to a variety of national golf tournaments, including the annual American Century Championship.
Inspired by the old lodges of National Parks and the American West, the Lodge at Edgewood Tahoe Resort was unveiled to the world in 2017. The beautiful 154-room-lodge was designed to recapture the spirit of age-old retreats and adventures, allowing locals, newcomers and regulars alike to see the lake that’s been revered for centuries in an entirely new way— where casual comforts exist amongst classic refinement, and where untamed adventure resides amongst unparalleled accommodations. The Lodge at Edgewood Tahoe also houses a
luxury spa and salon, premium shopping, multiple award-winning eateries, and more. Guests are treated to not only a premier lakeside alpine resort experience with world-class amenities, but also to breathtaking views of Lake Tahoe and the surrounding Sierra Nevada Mountains.
In 2021, Edgewood Tahoe Resort entered a new era of expansion: The Villa Suites at Edgewood Tahoe. These lakeview villas are designed to represent the next evolution of Lake Tahoe luxury, and have been a long-time dream of Edgewood Tahoe as we continue our mission to offer the ultimate Lake Tahoe experience to discerning guests from across the country and around the world.
