USING THE GRIND CONTROL CARAFE MODE

Fill the Water Tank

  • Press flip-top lid to open.
  • Fill with cold water.
  • Don’t exceed 12-cup max. Close the lid once filled.

Pre-Warm the Carafe

  • Remove lid (turn counter-clockwise).
  • Fill carafe with hot water, let sit for 30 sec, then discard.
  • Reattach lid (align arrows, turn clockwise to “LOCK”).
  • Place carafe under the drip outlet.

Select Carafe Mode

  • Press CUP | CARAFE button.
  • Use dial to select number of cups (2–12).
  • “FILL TANK” will display if selected cups > water level.

Set Brew Strength or Use Pre-Ground Option

  • Turn STRENGTH dial (1 = weak, 8 = strong).
  • Start with 4 for medium.
  • Select ‘PRE-GROUND’ if using pre-ground coffee.

Start Brewing

  • Press START | CANCEL button.
  • Watch display for:
    • PRE-HEATING
    • INFUSING
    • BREWING
  • Press START | CANCEL again to stop mid-cycle.

Use Brew Pause (Optional)

  • Remove carafe mid-brew to pour (max 20 seconds).
  • Replace promptly to avoid overflow.

Empty Coffee Basket

  • Wait for ready signal and auto shut-off.
  • LCD will flash “EMPTY COFFEE FILTER.”
  • Remove basket, discard grounds, rinse & dry well.
  • Clean any grind build-up on the chute disc inside swing-out door.

USING THE GRIND CONTROL - SINGLE CUP MODE

Fill the Water Tank

  • Press flip-top lid to open.
  • Fill with cold water.

Don’t exceed 12-cup max. Close the lid once filled.

Select Single Cup Mode

  • Press CUP | CARAFE until CUP symbol appears
  • Turn dial to choose cup size (7 options)
  • Make sure your cup is large enough for selection
  • Choose Brew Strength / Pre-Ground
    • Turn STRENGTH dial (1 = weak, 8 = strong)
    • Start at 4 for medium
    • Use PRE-GROUND setting if not grinding beans

Start Brewing

  • Press START | CANCEL button.
  • Watch display for:
    • PRE-HEATING
    • INFUSING
    • BREWING
  • Press START | CANCEL again to stop mid-cycle.

Empty Coffee Basket
